Editor Responsibilities
- Ensure that every submitted article is evaluated based on its scientific and academic contribution, regardless of the author's background.
- Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts, except to those involved in the publication process (e.g., reviewers and publishers).
- Avoid conflicts of interest in manuscript handling and refrain from using unpublished information for personal benefit.
- Take appropriate action in handling suspected publication ethics violations, such as plagiarism or data manipulation.
Author Responsibilities
- Ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, not plagiarized, and has not been published or is being considered by another journal.
- Provide accurate citations for sources used and give clear attribution to all research contributors.
- Present data honestly and accurately, without manipulation or falsification.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest and ensure that all individuals who contributed significantly to the research are included as authors.
- If errors are found in a published article, authors are required to inform the editor for correction or retraction if necessary.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript being reviewed and refrain from using the information for personal benefit.
- Assess the manuscript objectively based on scientific aspects, free from personal or professional bias.
- Provide constructive feedback to assist authors in improving their manuscript.
- Avoid conflicts of interest that could affect objectivity in manuscript evaluation.
Publication Ethics Violations
Gali Ilmu: Jurnal Studi Pendidikan Islam will address any indication of publication ethics violations, such as plagiarism, fabrication, falsification of data, or undisclosed conflicts of interest. If evidence of misconduct is found, the journal may take actions such as revision, article retraction, or a ban on publication for the involved author(s).
